It really is difficult to say that this is actually a ‘job’ because it is so enjoyable.

So anyway, I’ve just finished another full year of weddings, and what a year! Neil and I have travelled the country again and visited some amazing venues, we’ve met some lovely families and had such a giggle with wedding guests and other wedding suppliers. I’m approaching ten years of wedding photography and I’ll soon hit a total of 400 weddings. Then after more than 20 years as a civil servant, and with the security that job gave me, I handed in my notice and put all my faith, and bank account balance, into the hands of my own abilities. After my own wedding in 2007, I caught the photography bug big time and I began to assist some local established wedding photographers with my little Nikon D40 and D90. Before I picked up the keys to my first studio space, I started on a career path of being a Wedding Photographer.
